Project Planner
This chart is designed to help finalise the layout and quantities of materials needed to complete your project. The example on this page shows a deck designed with supporting posts at 1.8 metre centres and drawn with every grid square representing 1/2 a metre or 500mm. To help arrive at an accurate estimate of quantities sketch simple line drawings, and then on the reverse of the planner sheet develop a bill of materials, from the three points of view shown above. Although this example shows a deck, the planner can be used for any outdoor project. You can download and print an Adobe Acrobat (30k .pdf) version of our project planner sheet here. |
